Any number of drugs currently in the marketplace are being promoted with (paraphrased) “Please seek the advice of your physician before taking–insert drug name–”. Unfortunately, there are millions of uninsured Americans that don’t have the luxury of ever seeing a physician thanks to the recalcitrant party of “no”–AKA Republicans and the party of “indecisive”–AKA Democrats. Put away the defibrillator. Healthcare reform is no longer on life support. It’s time to call the coroner.
Election 2010 is on the horizon. This could be an excellent opportunity to replace both D’s and R’s en toto and see if the Republic can still be salvaged with a new batch of negotiators willing to meet somewhere mid-stream.
